My husband is making a list of his 50 favorite movies and reviewing them on his blog,

I thought, "What a good idea!"  But I'm not going to all that trouble.

So I thought I'd just make a list of my favorites so far.  I'm no 'movie critic'.  So these are just movies that I think are really good.

  1. Hi Mamalezlie, I love lists of peoples favourite movies and I definitely concur with you on The Maltese Falcon and Casablanca....I'm a big Bogart Fan.
The Last Of The Mohicans and The Quiet Man too and Ladyhawke,You've Got Mail and Sleepless In Seattle.Michelle Pfeiffer and Meg Ryan are my favourite actresses and I actually did a top 10 Pfeiffer films and Meg movies list on my blog a couple of weeks ago!
I'm glad I stopped by,I think I'll pop over to you husbands blog and have a look.

  2. Hi Paul. Movies are fun! And my husband is a HUGE movie buff. You'll love his blog.

  3. Picking a top 10 isn't easy! My favorites lean heavily toward musicals, so I guess my list would be:
    The Sound of Music
    West Side Story
    My Fair Lady
    All of Me
    It's a Wonderful Life
The In-Laws (the original with Peter Falk and Alan Arkin)
    The Princess Bride
    Groundhog Day

  4. Julie-Sounds like a great list! Who is in 1776?

  5. Lezlie, nice list! A few surprises there, as I think you've only seen a few of them once.

Julie, I love The In-Laws too. A couple of yours will be in my 50 Greatest list.

  6. 1776 has William Daniels as John Adams, and he also played the part on Broadway. Not any other big names, except one of the other actors is John Cullum, who played Holling on "Northern Exposure", if you were a fan of that show you would know him.

Thank you for making time for me in your busy day! Please leave a comment!!! It's so fun to hear your thoughts and to get to know you. God bless you!
