My Favorite Movies

My husband is making a list of his 50 favorite movies and reviewing them on his blog,  http://www.retrohound.com

I thought, "What a good idea!"  But I'm not going to all that trouble. 

So I thought I'd just make a list of my favorites so far.  I'm no 'movie critic'.  So these are just movies that I think are really good.

  1. Hi Mamalezlie, I love lists of peoples favourite movies and I definitely concur with you on The Maltese Falcon and Casablanca....I'm a big Bogart Fan.
    The Last Of The Mohicans and The Quiet Man too and Ladyhawke,You've Got Mail and Sleepless In Seattle.Michelle Pfeiffer and Meg Ryan are my favourite actresses and I actually did a top 10 Pfeiffer films and Meg movies list on my blog a couple of weeks ago!

  3. Picking a top 10 isn't easy! My favorites lean heavily toward musicals, so I guess my list would be:
    The Sound of Music
    1776
    West Side Story
    Camelot
    My Fair Lady
    All of Me
    It's a Wonderful Life
    The In-Laws (the original with Peter Falk and Alan Arkin)
    The Princess Bride
    Groundhog Day

  6. 1776 has William Daniels as John Adams, and he also played the part on Broadway. Not any other big names, except one of the other actors is John Cullum, who played Holling on "Northern Exposure", if you were a fan of that show you would know him.
