First, I bought a pattern book on crocheting purses:
Then I bought some black nylon yarn
(even though it said to use cotton):
Then I made my first attempt at
crocheting a purse:
I think it turned out pretty well.
I'm a little concerned about where the ends of the nylon are connected.
It is a slick yarn and I hope it will not unravel.
My husband suggested I melt the ends...
after I try it on the leftover yarn first of course.
He's SO smart!!!
What would I do without him?
He's a Good Gift!!!

Making a knot and melting is a good idea for nylon and polyester yarns. He's a good fish. Better keep him!
ReplyDeleteI agree. He's great! And today is his birthday!
