Pink & Blue Booties

My first COMMISSIONED work!!! A sweet friend from church requested I make some booties for her. I was so honored. Well, here they are:

Notice the bunnies?

I've hesitated to make the bunny pattern in the past, not knowing if it was 'too much' or not.  But they came out cute.  My friend likes them which is all that really matters.

Lani's Hat

I made this pattern up.  It's supposed to be a Denver Broncos hat for my baby niece, Lani.  Her daddy is a HUGE fan.

I think they will have to turn it upside down and use it as a purse, however, because she is 18 mo size at 9 mo old, and I underestimated!  When your model lives in Montana and you live in Kansas, what can you do?  :(  I was in too big of a hurry to get it done.  I should have asked for measurements.

This is right side up.  A hat!

This is upside down.  Add a handle, and it's a purse!

Beth's Black Birthday Doily

The last of this pile:

My sister-in-law who lives in Montana is a February girl.  I sent her birthday present in with the girls' Christmas presents with a note not to open it until her birthday.  Did she make it? ... I'll have to ask her!

Monogram Pillows

Well...actually I just used first initials on most of the pillows.  But I thought they turned out really cute.  I used material I had been given, so the cost of these Christmas presents for nieces/nephews was in time, not materials.

This one was for a special 'big' boy of 7 who is very dear to our family.  I did 2 initials on his because I knew that he would think the little animals on the other boy pillow were for 'babies'.  :)

Back in July, I made these little summer booties for my friend, Karen.

Her little Piper got to wear them and she showed them off on FaceBook.

Little Doily #60

I put my hand in this picture so that you could see the doily size relative to a reference point.
